At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Den - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province - informed that this year's holiday the province will announce the establishment of the Rice Museum in Bac Lieu ward and build a rice grain symbol in Vinh Loi commune.
Along with that, many important infrastructure projects were started such as Nguyen Dinh Chieu bridge connecting Ca Mau Provincial General Hospital, with a total investment of about 500 billion VND, expected to start construction on April 24; Ca Mau Provincial Standing Militia Flotilla project, with a total investment of about 394 billion VND, expected to start construction on April 25.
In the field of social security, the province will inaugurate the project to upgrade and renovate Bac Lieu Social Protection Center (phase 2) with a total investment of about 69 billion VND on April 25, contributing to improving the capacity to care for and nurture social protection beneficiaries.
The investment promotion conference with a scale of about 500 delegates is expected to be held on April 24 at the Ca Mau Provincial Convention Center, to introduce the potential, advantages, list of investment-aspirating projects and preferential policies of the locality.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Den, Ca Mau province is strengthening urban embellishment, upgrading infrastructure, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and food safety, serving well the activities to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification.
