Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard thanked the central and local press agencies and the Army for their proactiveness, effective coordination, editing, and building many high-quality journalistic works, rich in emotions, realistic images, and humane content about the Vietnam Coast Guard.
Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai wished that press agencies and newspapers would continue to promote more propaganda about the efforts, initiative, and creativity of officers and soldiers; Results of building the Vietnam Coast Guard force in a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern direction; Propaganda about the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen";
Project "I love the sea and islands of my homeland"; Law enforcement activities, defense foreign affairs, and international cooperation of the Vietnam Coast Guard to promptly encourage and motivate officers and soldiers to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
In 2025, the Party Committee and Heads of the Coast Guard Command regularly paid attention to leading and directing closely, prioritizing resources, and implementing many measures and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda work in the press;
Ensure the correct reporting of the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, policies, and laws of the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on information and communication work and speaking and providing information to the press.
During the year, the Vietnam Coast Guard coordinated with more than 100 central and local press agencies to build nearly 5,900 news, articles, reports, and propaganda columns about the forces' activities.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Coast Guard awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating propaganda about the Vietnam Coast Guard force in 2025.
