Another accident occurred at around 11:40 a.m. the same day on the Thang Long Boulevard service road, passing through the An Khanh overpass, Hoai Duc district (Hanoi). At that time, a truck (license plate unknown) traveling towards the inner city suddenly overturned and blocked the road.

Upon receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 11 and Hoai Duc District Police promptly arrived to fix the problem.

Initial information, both incidents were self-inflicted accidents. There were no human casualties.

Warning of accident risk

Prolonged drizzle in Hanoi is making the road surface slippery, vehicles lose traction, visibility is limited, and there is a potential risk of traffic accidents, especially during rush hour when traffic density increases.

Faced with the above situation, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that people should pay special attention when traveling in drizzle and foggy conditions:

For motorbikes

Maintain a steady speed, avoid sudden acceleration, do not use an umbrella while driving, wear a raincoat to ensure good visibility. Avoid sudden braking, use both brakes at the same time to avoid skidding.

For cars

Reduce speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, and avoid sudden braking. Turn on low beams or fog lights to increase visibility. When changing direction, turn on the turn signal early and observe carefully before moving.

In addition, in wet weather, the brake system and tires are easily affected, so people need to carefully check their vehicles before driving.
