Information from the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1, Traffic Police Department), the fire broke out at around 4:30 a.m. on December 1.
At that time, a semi-trailer carrying scrap moving in the direction of Hanoi - Lao Cai suddenly caught fire at Km42+300 in Tien Lu commune (Phu Tho).
Immediately after receiving the report, Team 1 coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Phu Tho Province to mobilize forces and vehicles to the scene.
Currently, the fire is basically under control. The front of the vehicle was removed from the trailer to prevent the fire from spreading. The tractor was then brought to a safe area a few dozen meters from the scene, creating space for the fire fighting force to approach and handle the fire.

At 8:30 a.m., cars lined up in a long line moving slowly to reach the fire area.
According to Team 1, the fire did not cause any casualties. However, the truck's body, tires and rear scrap were damaged.
The cause of the incident is being verified and clarified by the authorities.
