Therefore, the District People's Committee announced that vehicles can return to normal traffic on Son Tra Peninsula from 11:00 a.m. on November 6.
Previously, to focus on responding to the heavy rain, the People's Committee of Son Tra district issued an official dispatch banning vehicles from circulating on Son Tra peninsula (except official vehicles) from 8:00 a.m. on November 5.
On November 5, Da Nang city experienced heavy rain, some places had very heavy rain. Many low-lying areas and roads were deeply flooded, making it impossible for vehicles to move.
The water level of Vu Gia and Cam Le rivers is rising. In particular, some areas such as Son Tra peninsula (Son Tra district), Hoa Bac, Hoa Ninh, Hoa Phu communes... (Hoa Vang district) are at high risk of landslides.
Faced with that situation, local authorities urgently mobilized forces to support the evacuation of people in low-lying areas, areas prone to landslides... to safe places; at the same time promptly notified students to stay home from school, and people to limit their movement to areas that are deeply flooded and at risk of landslides...
