HCMC - A serious traffic accident occurred on Phan Van Khai Street, Cu Chi District, causing a woman to die when being run over by a container truck.

On April 3, a tragic accident occurred on Phan Van Khai Street, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City, killing a woman.

At around 7am, people living near Phan Van Khai Street heard a loud noise. When they ran out to check, people discovered a woman riding a motorbike dead under the container truck.

According to local residents, the container truck was moving from Phan Van Khai Street to An Suong intersection. When reaching a section near An Ha bridge, in Tan Phu Trung commune, the container truck collided with a woman riding a bicycle in the same direction.

The accident caused the woman to die on the spot.

At 8:30 a.m. the same day, Cu Chi District authorities in coordination with traffic police were present to block off the scene.

Currently, the police are extracting the camera to clarify the cause of the accident.
