On the morning of June 12, Duc Hoa Town Police (Duc Hoa District, Long An Province) coordinated with functional forces to conduct an investigation of the scene of a serious traffic accident that left one person dead on the spot.
Previously, at around 6:30 a.m., tractor trailer 50H-895.XX was traveling on Provincial Road 824, in the direction from Duc Hoa town to My Hanh Nam commune, Duc Hoa district (Long An province). When arriving at the traffic light intersection in Duc Hoa town, the tractor-trailer collided with a motorbike driven by a woman about 50 years old, residing in Duc Hoa Thuong commune, Duc Hoa district, traveling in the same direction.
The collision caused the woman riding a motorbike to fall onto the road, being run over by the front wheel of the motorbike, and dying on the spot. The tractor-trailer driver then went to the police station to report the incident.
According to local people, the victim was on his way home after work when he had an accident, the area where the accident occurred was only a few kilometers away.
The time of the incident was during the morning rush hour, the traffic was heavy, mainly workers and trucks, causing traffic congestion at the intersection for a long time. The Traffic Police and Duc Hoa Town Police quickly arrived to regulate, divert traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
