Sleeper bus catches fire on Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway, 1 dead

    Khanh Hoa - A sleeper bus suddenly caught fire while traveling on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway, killing 1 person.

    At about 11:37 pm on September 7, a sleeper bus suddenly caught fire at Km97+600 on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway, passing through Phuoc Hau commune, Khanh Hoa province.

    Specialized forces of Nui Vung Tunnel promptly deployed fire fighting plans and controlled the fire.

    According to initial information, a sleeper bus with license plate 77F-00446 driven by Mr. Ngo Ky Nhi (born in 1972, residing in Gia Lai province), was traveling in the North - South direction when it suddenly caught fire.

    The fire killed one person. The victim was identified as Mr. N.G. V. (born in 2007, from Gia Lai province).

    After the fire was controlled, functional forces deployed measures to handle the scene, and at the same time verified the cause of the incident and statistics of damage.

    Currently, the cause of the fire and property damage are being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
