On the morning of September 23, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, leaders of An Nhon Bac ward (Gia Lai province) confirmed that a passenger car overturning occurred on National Highway 1 section passing through the area, killing 2 people and injuring 4 others.
According to initial information, at about 4:30 am on the same day, at the intersection of National Highway 1 - National Highway 19B (Go Gang intersection, Tien Hoi residential group), sleeper bus BKS 77F-005.42 of Bay Tau bus company, driven by Mr. Nguyen Van C. (born 1990, residing in Hoai Nhon ward), collided with motorbike BKS 77F2-0443 driven by Mr. Nguyen Dinh P. (born 1963, residing in An Nhon Bac ward).
After the collision, the passenger car driver steered and crashed into a taxi with license plate 60E-006.50 parked nearby and then overturned.
The accident killed Mr. P. and a female passenger on the passenger car. 4 other passengers were injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Immediately after receiving the news, An Nhon Bac Ward Police coordinated with traffic police and functional units to organize rescue and take the victims to the emergency room.
Currently, functional agencies are examining the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
