On March 10, leaders of Binh Khe Commune People's Committee (Gia Lai) confirmed that a passenger car overturned in the area, injuring 2 people.
According to initial information, at about 10:35 PM on March 9th, a sleeper bus with license plate 47H-078.96 was traveling on National Highway 19 in the direction of Dak Lak - Da Nang. When it reached the section passing through Trung Son village (Binh Khe commune), the bus suddenly overturned.
At the time of the accident, the car was driven by Mr. Trinh Van Minh (born 1979, residing in Khanh Xuan ward, Dak Lak province), carrying 10 passengers.
The accident injured Mr. Mai Bao V. (born 1995) and Ms. Pham Thi H. (born 1959), both residing in Dak Lak province, and were taken to the emergency room. The remaining passengers luckily escaped.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police, at the time of the accident, the area was rainy, due to slippery roads, the car lost control and overturned on its own. Checking the driver's alcohol and drug levels, the result was negative.
Currently, functional agencies are examining the scene and clarifying the cause of the accident.
