On March 21, leaders of Tuy Phuoc Bac Commune People's Committee (Gia Lai province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing a young man.
According to initial information, at about 1:15 am on the same day, Nguyen Van L. (born 1997, residing in Vinh Quang 2 village, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 77G1-967.23 carrying Do Van T. (born 1997, residing in the same village) on a concrete road in Xuan My village (Tuy Phuoc Bac commune).
During the traffic, the motorbike suddenly crashed into a house gate pillar on the side of the road. As a result, L. was seriously injured and taken to Gia Lai Provincial Central General Hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive. T. was also injured.
According to initial assessments, L. drove the car without controlling speed, lacking observation when passing a curved road, causing an accident on his own.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by functional agencies to clarify the cause.
