On June 16, a truck with a blue license plate suddenly overturned on the parallel road of Hanoi Highway, near the approach bridge, crushing two motorbikes, injuring two people. The case is being handled by the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team in coordination with Linh Trung Ward Police.
The accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. the same day. At this time, the truck driven by a male driver was traveling on the parallel road of Hanoi Highway from Ho Chi Minh City National University to Thu Duc intersection, in Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City.
When reaching the underpass section of the approach bridge from Hanoi Highway to Do Muoi Street, the truck suddenly crashed into the approach bridge wall, then overturned onto the road. As a result, the truck crashed into two motorbikes traveling in the same direction behind, causing injuries. Immediately, passersby joined forces to lift the truck, rescue the two victims and take them to the hospital for emergency care.
In addition, two men riding another motorbike were also hit by a truck. Fortunately, both suffered minor scratches and left the scene on their own.
Upon receiving the report, the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team (HCMC Traffic Police Department) and Linh Trung Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic, investigate the cause of the accident and handle it according to the provisions of law.
