According to initial information, at around 6:30 p.m. on June 15, the car was traveling on Kinh Duong Vuong Street in the direction from Mien Tay Bus Station to National Highway 1. When approaching Sinco intersection (An Lac ward, Binh Tan district), the vehicle suddenly dropped the median strip, swerved into the motorbike lane and hit many people in traffic.
The car only stopped after climbing onto the sidewalk. The consequences of the accident caused two women to die on the spot, while another man was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police force quickly coordinated with the Binh Tan District Police and other professional units to organize a blockade, examine the scene and investigate the cause of the incident. By 7:00 p.m., the investigation was completed and traffic was gradually cleared.
Currently, the police are extracting images from the security camera to investigate the accident.
