At noon on July 9, on the Cu Hin pass route, passing through Cam Lam commune (Khanh Hoa province), a Hino truck traveling in the direction of Cam Lam - Nha Trang suddenly overturned.
According to initial information, while moving on a mountain pass road with many curves and steep slopes, the vehicle encountered an accident leading to a car overturning.
The accident caused severe damage to the cabin, and two roadside light poles were broken and fallen. Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor scratches and escaped on his own.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene to support taking the driver for health check, and at the same time organize traffic regulation.
Because trucks blocked part of the road surface, traffic through the area was blocked in one direction. Vehicles were guided to temporarily travel through the opposite lane to ensure safety and reduce congestion.
By the afternoon of the same day, the truck involved in the accident had been removed from the scene by functional forces, and traffic on the Cu Hin pass route returned to normal.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
