Truck collides with pedestrian, killing one woman

Gia Lai - A truck collided with a woman walking in Pleiku city, causing her death on the spot.

On October 12, Pleiku City Police, Gia Lai Province, said they are investigating the cause of the accident that left a woman dead.

Accordingly, at around 7:50 a.m. the same day, at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Le Thanh Ton streets (in residential group 4, Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city), a serious traffic accident occurred.

A truck with license plate 81H - 027.48 (driver unknown) was traveling from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Le Thanh Ton Street when it hit a woman walking across the street. The woman died on the spot.

Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police of Pleiku City Police were present at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
