On April 30, the main streets of Lang Son city such as Tran Dang Ninh, Ba Trieu, Hung Vuong... were filled with the red colors of the national flag, the Party flag, banners and billboards to celebrate the 30/4 - 5 holiday.
The festive atmosphere spreads from administrative agencies and units to each neighborhood and small alley. People personally hung the national flag in front of their house, cafes and stores also proactively decorated flags and flashing lights to create brilliant highlights.
Many coffee shops also installed large screens for customers to watch the parade, a live TV parade this morning (April 30).


Luong Hoang Mai, an employee of Do Coffe restaurant on Ly Thuong Kiet street, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city, shared: "The atmosphere this year is very special, everyone is excited. We decorated early and prepared a live screening for the parade so that everyone could enjoy coffee and immerse themselves in the historical atmosphere."
According to the female employee, not only decorating the restaurant with many red flags with yellow stars, on this occasion the restaurant also added a drink combining different ingredients to the menu to create the shape of the Party flag and the national flag, creating excitement for many customers.
"At the same time, the shop also uses historical documents about the liberation day of the South, reuniting the country in front of the shop to spread the joy of the big festival of the river" - Mai said.


Not only in the city center, red flags with yellow stars also appear on the roads to famous historical sites and scenic spots of Lang Son.
The image of the national flag associated with the conical hat was brought by Lang Son youth to Ky Cung Temple, Tam Thanh Pagoda, Mac Dynasty Citadel... as a way to express love for the homeland and national pride.

Many families and groups of young people also organize trips to the border milestones, carrying flags and souvenir photos, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, while affirming sovereignty over the border land of the Fatherland.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, 62 years old, in Vinh Trai ward, was moved: "Seeing red flags flying on every street corner, listening to the national anthem during the parade, even just through a small screen, it is enough to see my heart rise proudly".
This woman said that on days when the whole country shares the same joy, people in the neighborhood made an appointment to wake up early on the morning of April 30 to watch the parade.
Not only in neighborhoods and residential areas, the atmosphere of celebrating the great victory day has also penetrated into each classroom as a reminder to the younger generation about the feats of the nation.

Sharing with PV, teacher Ha Thi Thuyet - Principal of Tuoi Than Kindergarten (Lang Son City) shared: "To educate students about tradition, the school has diversified forms of communication in all grades. Specifically, like bowing a star on a prepared flag or making a national flag from watermelon juice".

Also according to PV, to serve people to monitor the parade program, parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reunify the country that took place solemnly at 8am this morning in Ho Chi Minh City, Lang Son City prepared 3 large screens at the children's palace gate, the Ky Don walking street and the Gate of the New Century Lang Son hotel gate.
This year's April 30 - May 1 holiday lasts 5 days, creating conditions for people and tourists coming to Lang Son to enjoy the solemn and sacred atmosphere, while participating in many meaningful cultural and tourism activities.
