On July 11, information from the People's Committee of Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province, people in Minh Khai village just reflected some cases of lack of awareness, dumping domestic waste and construction materials into the cultivated rice fields behind the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Minh Khai commune (old), causing unsightliness, environmental impact and public outrage.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Vu Thu commune government directed the Minh Khai village leadership to inspect, verify and thoroughly handle the above situation. The village has mobilized manpower and vehicles to collect all waste, clear roads to serve people's production, and at the same time implement measures to prevent the situation from recurring.
According to the leader of Vu Thu commune, in the past time, propaganda to raise environmental awareness has been regularly implemented through the grassroots broadcasting system, electronic information portal and fanpage of the commune. In areas where garbage dumping is common, the locality has also installed warning signs. However, in some places, people still dump garbage in the wrong places.
Vu Thu Commune People's Committee requests people to raise awareness of environmental protection, not to litter indiscriminately; and at the same time actively provide information and images about violations so that the government and the police force have a basis for handling according to regulations, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.
