On the morning of July 11, at Binh Phuoc Martyrs' Cemetery, Dong Tam commune, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City organized a ceremony to pay respects, commemorate, and bury 63 sets of remains of martyrs to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, along with central and Dong Nai City delegates.

Reading the eulogy commemorating the souls of the martyrs, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee, emotionally shared: From 2002 - 2026, members of Team K72 of the City Military Command have made efforts to overcome many difficulties, searched for thousands of locations and exhumed 4,009 sets of remains of martyrs who sacrificed in the war through periods at home and abroad to be buried at the City Martyrs' Cemetery.
In June 2026, Team K72 searched and exhumed 63 sets of remains of martyrs who sacrificed in the war through various periods in the country and Cambodia. Among the 63 sets of remains of martyrs, fortunately there are 2 biological samples that meet the conditions to be sent for DNA testing. Team K72 will continue its journey to search for comrades who sacrificed in the war, until there is no information left.
Immediately after the flower and incense offering ceremony, 63 sets of remains of martyrs were organized for memorial service and burial in a solemn atmosphere. Representatives of central leaders, Dong Nai City, veterans... also came to burn incense on thousands of heroic and martyr's graves at Binh Phuoc Martyrs' Cemetery.
