Reading the eulogy commemorating the souls of the martyrs, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee, emotionally shared: From 2002 - 2026, members of Team K72 of the City Military Command have made efforts to overcome many difficulties, searched for thousands of locations and exhumed 4,009 sets of remains of martyrs who sacrificed in the war through periods at home and abroad to be buried at the City Martyrs' Cemetery.

In June 2026, Team K72 searched and exhumed 63 sets of remains of martyrs who sacrificed in the war through various periods in the country and Cambodia. Among the 63 sets of remains of martyrs, fortunately there are 2 biological samples that meet the conditions to be sent for DNA testing.
