On July 7, leaders of Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province inspected the scene and assessed the results of handling the petitions of voters in Trung Hung village (now La Uyen village).
Previously, at a meeting on May 14, held right at people's houses according to the "drinking tea and listening to people speak" model, voters reflected on the localized flooding situation in the Cheo bridge area and the beginning of the Trung Hung residential area road to National Highway 10 due to the drainage system being blocked. Some alleys in the residential area are also frequently flooded because there are no drainage roads.

Immediately after the dialogue, the Commune People's Committee directed specialized units to coordinate with the village to implement remediation. Up to now, the drainage ditch system in the residential area has been connected and cleared, contributing to handling the flooding situation before the rainy and storm season. For the Cheo bridge area, the plan to build a new drainage system has completed surveys and is ready for construction.
The act of going from people's tea tables to the scene to handle it shows that voters' opinions and recommendations are not only listened to but also transformed into specific and timely actions.
Model "People's Council Delegates - Drinking tea and listening to the people speak

At the dialogue, the Party Committee and government directly listened, recorded and answered specific issues. In addition, the leaders of Vu Thu commune clearly assigned tasks, assigned responsibilities and deadlines for resolution to each unit.
Voters of old Trung Hung village (now La Uyen village) present at the meeting shared: "We are very excited because it is the first time we have sat and shared the reality with commune leaders like this. We can frankly express our opinions and propose problems that are still stuck and are all listened to and answered right at the meeting".
