On the afternoon of March 9, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police held a working session with passenger transport businesses in Da Lat City.
Here, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, emphasized the determination to strictly handle violations related to picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Cuong, the unit will synchronously deploy solutions to detect and handle violations of passenger transport activities. This not only helps improve the quality of transportation services but also protects the rights of passengers.
During the meeting, a number of businesses reported the situation of inter-provincial bus stations in Da Lat City being overloaded, causing difficulties for bus companies in registering to depart. They said that the current bus station does not meet the actual needs of businesses and passengers.
The representative of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police acknowledged these opinions and pledged to work with relevant parties to find solutions.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported the situation of passenger buses operating in Da Lat City violating regulations when using transaction offices on the routes to pick up, drop off passengers and goods.
This behavior not only violates the law but also greatly affects the traffic activities of people and tourists.
Currently, there are about 50 passenger transport businesses in Da Lat City. Most of them are headquartered outside Lam Dong province, with branches only located in Da Lat city to conduct transactions, pick up and drop off customers and goods.
The management and adjustment of the operations of these businesses is necessary to ensure traffic safety and order and the rights of passengers.
The Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police will continue to monitor and strictly handle violations, and coordinate with authorities to improve the passenger transport situation in Da Lat City.
