On October 30, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - signed a document (No. 9350) requesting Bao Loc City People's Committee to report on the contents related to the dismantling of the bridge over Da Riam River (also known as Su Ba Giang stream), in Loc Phat ward.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned Bao Loc City People's Committee to inspect and clarify the contents related to the above bridge such as: Planning; construction documents and permits; the ability to ensure the safety of the project in terms of span, elevation, load-bearing structure; impact on the water resource protection corridor...
The Provincial People's Committee requests clarification of the reasons for the dismantling, the responsibilities of relevant units during the bridge construction process and the next handling direction. Report relevant contents to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee before October 11, 2024.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported on the shortcomings related to the decision to force the implementation of remedial measures by the People's Committee of Bao Loc City. The People's Committee of Bao Loc City requested the People's Committee of Loc Phat Ward to carry out procedures to demolish the above-mentioned illegally built bridge.
This is causing more than 100 households in residential groups 8 and 15 to worry about losing the bridge, affecting the need to travel and transport agricultural products and fertilizers.
Recently, Bao Loc City People's Committee also assigned Loc Phat Ward People's Committee to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize dialogues with representatives of households in the two above-mentioned residential groups.
Through dialogue, people still hope that the People's Committee of Bao Loc City will consider allowing the bridge to exist. This is to create conditions for people to travel and transport agricultural products and goods.
In case of forced demolition, there should be a policy to build a new bridge before demolition to ensure convenient traffic for people.
The above-mentioned spontaneous bridge across Su Ba Giang stream connecting residential groups 8 and 15 (Loc Phat ward) was built in 2020.
The project has an area of about 60m2, with a stone foundation structure, steel column and truss frame and a concrete floor with plastic carpet on the surface.
However, through inspection and based on the administrative violation record of Loc Phat Ward People's Committee, it was determined that this bridge is ownerless.
According to research, the bridge was built in the form of socialization, with people contributing money and helping to serve the travel needs of people in the area.
Bao Loc City People's Committee believes that because the bridge was built without permission and violated the water source protection corridor, it must be dismantled.
After dismantling, the locality will consider people's travel needs to plan to build a new bridge in accordance with regulations.
