The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line under the urban railway project No. 3.1 has been officially put into commercial operation since August 8, 2024, after being approved by the State Inspection Council for acceptance with conditions. However, at the time of handover, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line still had some items in packages such as CP01, CP05... that had not been completed in accordance with technical requirements.
Along with that, after nearly a year of operation, the operator has compiled a statistic of 218 unresolved technical errors, mainly related to construction items and equipment systems at 8 elevated stations and the depot area of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line. The errors include: the light system for the disabled is not working, the incense bulb is turned off, the roof leaks during heavy rain, the train storage area lacks light, the automatic ticket vending machine has problems...
Before the end of the warranty period, Hanoi Metro requested the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB) to coordinate with Systra consultants and contractors to complete all items that have not met requirements, organize acceptance and hand over the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line before August 30, 2025. At the same time, thoroughly handle the errors pointed out by the State Inspection Council, as well as the errors arising, before handing over the project to the operator.
Mr. MRB representative said that more than 200 technical errors on the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line were all small errors, not affecting the safety of operation. These are problems arising from the process of putting the project into use. MRB is committed to working with contractors to promptly fix all shortcomings during the warranty period to ensure aesthetics, quality and stable and long-term operation for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line.
