The fire broke out on the morning of August 8, at a 2-storey house, 152m2 wide on Quang Trung Street, Thong Tay Hoi Ward. At that time, three people were in the house when they discovered smoke and the fire.
Realizing that the fire was too big, they could not get out of the main door but had to find a way to climb through the balcony of the house next door to escape and cry for help. The neighbors quickly used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Fire Prevention and Rescue Department mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene. After about 20 minutes, the fire was completely controlled.
Initially, the fire damaged 2 motorbikes, 4 bicycles and some other items. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
