On December 6, the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak province informed that through the State management of the press in the area, the unit found that in the recent past, there have been some outstanding press reports that need attention.
Among them, there is an article: "Patchwork on the trillion-dong bypass in Dak Lak" published in Lao Dong Newspaper on October 29, 2024.
The article clearly stated that the area to adjust the direction of Ho Chi Minh Highway, the section avoiding the East of Buon Ma Thuot City, has not been constructed or completed. Meanwhile, on the old route, the contractor only made temporary repairs, which were easily damaged, causing hardship for people in moving and traveling.
The Ho Chi Minh Road project, bypassing the eastern part of Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province) has a total investment of more than 1,800 billion VND from the central budget with a length of more than 39km.
The project is represented by the Dak Lak Province Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Transport Works and Rural Development.
Pursuant to current regulations, the Department of Information and Communications requests the leaders of the Dak Lak Province Traffic Construction and Rural Development Project Management Board to direct the inspection, verification and feedback on the contents reported by Lao Dong Newspaper.
The response document is sent to Lao Dong Newspaper, and at the same time to the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Information and Communications to serve the State management of the press.
