The 2024 Gumball 3000 supercar journey is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City. However, before the departure time this morning (September 15), there was information that the Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport pair with Cambodian license plates could not appear in Vietnam as planned.
Accordingly, these two Bugattis belonging to teams 118 and 119 departed from the capital Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and arrived at Bavet border gate to complete procedures to Moc Bai border gate, Tay Ninh province to enter Vietnam's territory on the afternoon of September 14.
But these two cars could not enter Vietnam due to paperwork problems. After that, the Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport returned to Cambodia.
Supercar enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City were unable to admire the two "super products" of Bugatti.
Previously, the owner of the Bugatti Chiron only intended to welcome the Gumball 3000 2024 supercar convoy at the Bavet border gate. However, after talking with the founder of the world's largest car journey, he changed his mind and decided to send the two cars, the Bugatti Chiron and the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, to Vietnam by road.
Thus, this pair of Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport cars will participate in the Gumball 3000 journey in 2024 in Cambodia, then run through Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Only 500 Bugatti Chiron supercars are produced worldwide, of which only 60 are Bugatti Chiron Super Sport models worldwide.
