According to the British newspaper The Sun, a rather daring car theft recently occurred in the Norfolk area. The incident occurred at Tibenham Airport in Norfolk, at which time the Car Chase Heroes Company was transporting more than 100 cars to a racetrack. However, the thieves broke into the safe and took all the keys to steal the cars.
Assessing the damage, the company said the stolen cars included: a Lamborghini Huracan, Audi R8, Porsche Cayman, Mercedes-AMG GT and a VW Golf GTI Clubsport.
The Lamborghini Huracan is painted bright red, the Audi R8 is yellow/orange, the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster is black and orange, the Cayman is white and the Golf GTI is in a distinctive white and blue livery honouring the Sale Sharks rugby team.
Norfolk Police are investigating the case and want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the theft or who can assist with their investigation. All five cars are believed to be insured and the vehicles are worth an estimated £450,000 ($600,000) in total.
