As of the end of June 2025, the Vietnamese stock market recorded 44 listed enterprises with market capitalization exceeding 1 billion USD, equivalent to about 25,400 billion VND. This is a group of leading enterprises, playing a pivotal role in supporting the index and leading the expectations of investors in the market.
Leading in terms of capitalization scale is the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB) with a value of VND 476,273 billion. Next are familiar representatives such as Vingroup Corporation (VIC) with VND 365,542 billion, Vinhomes (VHM) with VND 315,039 billion and BIDV (BID) with VND 254,875 billion. Other major banks such as Techcombank (TCB), VietinBank (CTG), MBBank (MBB), VPBank (VPB), ACB, LienViet postBank (LPB), Sacombank (STB), TPBank (TPB), HDBank (HDB) and MSB are also on the list.
In the group of non-financial enterprises, prominent representatives include FPT Joint Stock Company (175.093 billion VND), Hoa Phat Group - HPG (174.234 billion VND), Vinpearl (169.646 billion VND), Vietnam Gas - GAS Corporation (158.8833 billion VND), Vinamilk - VNM (121.217 billion VND), Vietnam Rubber Industry Group - GVR (121.200 billion VND), Masan - MSN Group (110.465 billion VND), The Gioi Di Dong - MWG (96.870 billion VND) and Vietnam Airlines - HVN (83.926 billion VND).


Some enterprises on the list have a capitalization of around 1 billion USD such as BCM, SAB, VRE, BSR, REE, GEX and DGC, operating in many fields from industrial park real estate, food - beverage to energy and chemicals.
The presence of leading enterprises in many fields shows the increasingly balanced development of the Vietnamese stock market. Not only the banking and real estate group, industries such as retail, technology, aviation, food - beverage and energy production all have representatives in the "century-dollar" capitalization list.
The increase in the number of enterprises with a capitalization exceeding 1 billion USD is an important factor in the process of upgrading the market from frontier to emerging market, contributing to attracting large capital flows from international investment funds. This is also a testament to the internal capacity and increasingly solid position of listed enterprises in the Vietnamese market.
