An Aston Martin Rapide has just attracted attention when appearing on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City with a sporty appearance, carrying the style of the limited edition Rapide AMR. Although not one of the 210 AMRs produced globally, this car has been "upgraded" by its owner in the style of a high-performance version, implemented by a domestic workshop.
Aston Martin Rapide AMR launched in 2018, only 210 units were produced, considered the strongest upgrade of the Rapide line. In Vietnam, nearly 6 Rapides have been imported, but this is the first time an AMR standard simulation model has appeared.
The upgraded package brings a new look with a sporty front bumper, unique round headlights, redesigned grille and Stirling Green blue paint combined with the characteristic Lime lemon gold strip - the familiar color on Aston Martin high-performance cars.
Rapide is the first luxury sedan of the British brand, produced in the period 2010-2020. The car was developed in 2005 with the goal of combining the luxury of a sedan with the performance of a sports car. The design was done by Marek Reichman in just seven weeks, first presented at the 2006 North American International Auto Show.
Under the capo roof, the Aston Martin Rapide is equipped with a 6.0L V12 engine, producing 470 horsepower and 601 Nm of torque, helping the car accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 303 km/h. The 6-speed touchline running touchline running car with touchline 2 automatic transmission brings a powerful driving feeling, true to British sport.
The appearance of the AMR-style Aston Martin Rapide in Ho Chi Minh City not only enriches the domestic luxury sports car market, but also attracts the attention of the car enthusiast community when once again the Aston Martin V12 icon is impressively recreated.
