This is a super luxury coupe model that is familiar to high-end customers around the world and in Vietnam, but the rare orange version makes the car different.
The third-generation Continental GT was produced by Bentley in the 2018-2024 period before entering the new generation. On the market, this car line often appears in white, black, gray or some rare colors such as blue and red. The owner's choice of orange for his car makes this coupe model stand out even more in the crowded city.
Bentley announced the third generation of Continental GT on August 29, 2017, before the car was launched to the public at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and quickly attracted great attention. The car has been on sale since 2018 with a starting price of £156,700.
During the development process, Bentley also introduced special variants. In January 2019, the company announced its 100th anniversary with a limited edition based on the Continental GT, launched at the Geneva Motor Show. Previously, in November 2018, Bentley introduced the Continental GT Convertible 2019 convertible version.
The third-generation Continental GT uses the MSB platform developed by Volkswagen in collaboration with the second-generation Porsche Panamera. Compared to the previous generation, the body is about 80 kg lighter, the wheelbase is increased by 135 mm. The car is equipped with a 48 volt active overturning control system, a new 6.0L W12 TSI engine and a comprehensively upgraded interior, notably a unique rotary screen.
This is also the first factory model of Bentley to have a full body made with Super Formed technology, allowing for complex and sharp aluminum shaping. The aluminum plates are heated and shaped with compressed air instead of being blown away as usual.
Regarding performance, the manufacturer announced that the Continental GT accelerates to 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 333 km/h. The W12 engine block - designed and handcrafted at Crewe is an upgrade from the engine that appeared on the Bentley Bentayga in 2016. With a high-pressure - low-pressure fuel spraying system, cylinder failure technology, stop - start mode and optimal torque, this engine produces 626 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
