On March 20, BMW officially launched the new electric car i7 of the sedan 7-Series. This is the automaker's latest product line electrification effort to increase competitiveness with the industry leader Tesla.

BMW calls the new i7 model "a complete member of the 7-Series" because the car has a luxurious interior with countless screens and stylish exterior.

The exterior of the i7 in particular or the 7-Series in general has marked the development of BMW's design language with compact lines and large grids. Compared to the current The 7 with a smooth appearance, the new i7 has a much more toned and muscular appearance.

Inside the interior, the i7 has a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch control display. Photo: BMW. In addition, the car is also equipped with BMW Interactive Youth on the dashboard below the home screen to control the climate, ventilation system and other functions.

A highlight inside the rear seats is the BMW Cinema Screen with a huge size of 31.3 inches and an 8K resolution, accompanied by the Amazon Fire TV.

Providing power for the i7 are two electric motors with a maximum capacity of 536 horsepower and a maximum torque of 744 Nm. According to BMW, the car can travel about 480 km with just one charge and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds.

The sedan i7 is BMW's third electric car model after the two crossover models iX and sedan i4. It is known that the starting price of the car in the North American market is 2.7 billion VND. BMW is expected to deliver the new i7 to customers in the fourth quarter of this year.
