Two Mercedes-Benz luxury cars left on the sidewalk near alley 234 Hoang Quoc Viet street, opposite the gate of Pascal Primary and Secondary School, are in serious condition.
One still retains most of its original state, while the other almost only has the frame after a long time of not being used.
According to Lao Dong's records, the Mercedes-Benz E230 is one of the first models assembled at the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam factory since 1996. Although it has been out of the factory for decades, the car still retains quite a few original details.

The exterior of the car shows some signs of aging such as peeling paint, damaged rearview mirrors, yellowish headlights and a thickly covered body with dirt. However, the overall exterior is still quite intact.
Inside the cockpit, black leather seats, wood trim details and leather-wrapped steering wheel are still preserved. Most of the interior has not been damaged much, showing the durability of the model after many years of use.

In contrast to the E230, the black Mercedes-Benz S400, which was once priced at about 4 billion VND when launched in 2014, has now seriously deteriorated.
The hood and rear bumper are out of place, deformed, while the front and rear lights and rearview mirrors are all gone. The front tires are completely flattened, the rear tires have been removed, the engine compartment is covered in rust, and many details are heavily damaged.

Inside the cabin, the steering wheel has disappeared, many interior details have been damaged, and garbage is piled up in the car, leaving the vehicle almost only the frame and shell.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Duc, a resident living near this area, said that the two cars have been here for a long time.
The E230 is still quite intact, while the S400 is increasingly damaged, many parts have been removed. The car has been abandoned for a long time without anyone managing it, so it is quite wasteful," Mr. Duc said.
Some people also expressed regret when cars that used to be of great value were now abandoned in the sun and rain.
