Geely officially launched in the Vietnamese market with the first 3 products announced, Coolray, Monjaro and EX5.

On the evening of March 21, the Geely car brand was officially launched in the Vietnamese market. Here, Geely also launched its first three models including the Geely Coolray, Geely Monjaro and Geely EX5.

The Geely Coolray is introduced as a B-size SUV, equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, 177 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. The car uses a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission, with the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Geely Coolray comes in 3 versions: Standard, Premium and Flagship. The warranty policy for Coolray is 5 years or 150,000 km.

The Geely Monjaro is equipped with an engine with a capacity of 238 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, along with full-time 4-wheel drive (4WD). The car has an overall size of 4,770 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,689 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm. Notable equipment on the Monjaro includes an IMAX screen, panoramic sunroof and driving assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist.

The Geely EX5 is an all-electric vehicle, with a capacity of 218 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with a 60.2 kWh battery, with a range of up to 430 km per full charge. EX5 is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 175 km/h. This model is also equipped with smart driving assistance features and a fast charging system.

In addition to introducing new car models, Geely also announced plans to develop a dealership system in Vietnam. Currently, Geely has opened 15 dealers and 15 experience points nationwide, with the goal of expanding to 50 dealers by the end of 2025. Geely and its partner Tasco Auto are also implementing a project to build an automobile assembly plant in Vietnam, expected to be operational from 2026.
