According to the Traffic Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, from September 1 to September 10, the police fined many cases of traffic violations. Including Hanoi license plate cars marked as follows:
The police note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers of cars running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level is 4-6 million VND); motorbike drivers running red lights being fined from 4-6 million VND (old fine is 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
