In July 2025, the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police issued a notice to citizens about the current lack of a physical PET card driving license.
At the same time, instructions on the necessary procedures to integrate the driving license into the VNeID electronic identification application to serve the traffic participation process.
According to the Traffic Police Department, from March 1, 2025, cases of changing or reissuing driving licenses at the Traffic Police Department, points of receiving the change of driving license in the province or registering on the National Public Service Portal (choosing the receiving unit as the Traffic Police Department - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) will not be granted PET cards immediately.
After 3 working days from the date of submitting a valid application, citizens can access the website http://gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn to look up driving license information and integrate it into VNeID.
For candidates who have taken the driving license test at centers and training institutions in the province from March 1, 2025 and achieved the results, after 3 working days from the end of the test, they need to contact the training place to receive information including driving license number, driving license rank, issuance date... to integrate into VNeID.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that citizens who have been granted a valid driving license but do not have a PET card license should proactively integrate information into the VNeID application. This integration makes it convenient to participate in traffic, as well as present quickly when the authorities check.
The Traffic Police Department also noted that citizens should follow the instructions for integrating driving licenses into the VNeID application to ensure legality during traffic.
