At about 9:00 p.m. on July 26, a dump truck with a Khanh Hoa province license plate was traveling on Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue from Cam Ranh airport to Binh Tan bridge.
When approaching the Dang Thai Mai - Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection, through Phu Cuong residential group, Nam Nha Trang ward, the truck suddenly jumped up, entangled in a low-voltage power line crossing the road.
Upon receiving the report, Nam Nha Trang Ward Police and local security forces quickly arrived at the scene. Forces deploy warnings and regulate traffic to ensure people and vehicles travel through the area.
At the scene, a reinforced concrete low voltage power pole was broken and thrown into the bins of a pickup truck parked on the sidewalk. A section of the power line was broken and stuck in the dump truck's body.
The accident caused a power outage in residential areas on both sides of Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, and the pickup truck was damaged.
Currently, functional units have arrived to fix the power problem; at the same time, investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
