On July 26, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Party Committee held the first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress was attended by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Major General Hua Van Tuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5.
150 delegates representing 1,954 party members in the entire party organization attended the Congress.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, said that the congress is a particularly important political event. Not only deciding on immediate tasks, the congress also approved basic and comprehensive contents in building a national defense, building Khanh Hoa province into a solid defense zone.
The Congress also set out the tasks of building a clean and strong Party Committee. The provincial armed forces are comprehensively "exemplary and typical" to meet the requirements and tasks in the new revolutionary period.
Over the past 5 years, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Party Committee has successfully completed the main targets set by the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.
In particular, promoting the role of the Khanh Hoa armed forces in building an increasingly solid national defense and national border defense.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Party Committee determined to continue to innovate and improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee. Build a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, abilities, prestige, and on par with the tasks to meet the requirements of building a "refined, compact, and strong" provincial armed forces.
The Congress set targets to strive for 100% of agencies and units to build and adjust the document system to be ready to fight, practice plans, promptly handle situations, ensure maintaining security and safety, and create favorable conditions for the province to develop a double-digit socio-economic growth.
Speaking at the congress, Major General Hua Van Tuong suggested that the Provincial Military Party Committee promote the achieved results, focusing on building a comprehensively strong and truly exemplary armed force.
Delegates studied and specified the effective implementation of military and defense tasks. Innovation in content and form to improve the quality of drills close to the combat subjects and local practices.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, including 21 comrades.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee.
Colonel Truong Thanh Viet - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
