On the evening of July 26, Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union and localities organized the burning of candles to pay tribute to thousands of graves at Hon Dung martyrs cemeteries (Bac Nha Trang ward), Ca Du martyrs cemetery (Xuan Hai commune) and Ninh Hoa - Van Ninh martyrs cemetery.
This is a special commemorative activity towards the 27th War Invalids and Martyrs Day of the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province.
The activity aims to pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed in the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland.

At Hon Dung Martyrs' Cemetery, provincial leaders and 650 delegates who are relatives of martyrs, leaders of departments, branches, union members, and youth offered flowers, incense, and took a moment to pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs.
Thousands of candles and incense sticks were lit by delegates and youth union members of Khanh Hoa province on the graves of martyrs resting at Hon Dung martyrs cemetery.
At Ca Du Martyrs' Cemetery (Xuan Hai Commune), Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Pham Van Hau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and more than 200 delegates offered flowers, incense, and burned candles to commemorate the heroes and martyrs.

Along with the candle lighting ceremony, leaders of Khanh Hoa province and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited families with meritorious services in communes in South Khanh Hoa.
Along with the provincial level, delegates and relatives of heroic martyrs from the northern communes of Khanh Hoa offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Ninh Hoa - Van Ninh Martyrs' Cemetery.
This is the resting place of more than 3,700 martyrs' graves, the cradle of the revolutionary movement in Khanh Hoa province.
According to Mr. Huynh Huu Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, lighting incense and Suppressing incense in memory is not only an act of gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs but also an opportunity to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and patriotism.
Thereby, contributing to raising the responsibility of each organization, individual, union member, and youth in caring for and caring for war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.


On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union and localities also presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and war invalids, sick soldiers, former youth volunteers, and people with revolutionary contributions in the province.
Before the merger, the old Khanh Hoa province had 126 works commemorating martyrs with more than 6,100 martyrs' graves currently buried in cemeteries. The number of martyrs' graves is 480 graves managed by the family.
Since August 2024, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have coordinated with relevant agencies to review, identify, and collect DNA samples of nearly 3,000 relatives of unidentified martyrs.
In Ninh Thuan province (old), there are 60 works commemorating martyrs, the whole province has over 4,500 martyrs, 518 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
