On March 2, information from the Vinh City Traffic Police Team said that the unit had just discovered a white Honda City car moving on Tran Hung Dao Street with a license plate (BKS) showing signs of change. The driver used black tape to stick to license plate 37A-926.87, turning it into 37A-828.87.
Immediately after receiving the information, the traffic police identified and invited driver C.T.T., residing in Nghi An commune, Vinh city, to work. At the police station, Mr. T. admitted to intentionally changing the two numbers on the license plate to avoid being fined for participating in traffic.
Based on the verification documents, the authorities have drawn up a record of administrative sanctions against Mr. C.T.T. According to the provisions of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, this behavior is fined from 20-26 million VND, and the driver is also deducted 6 points from the driver's license.
De purpose in covering or changing information on vehicle license plates not only violates the law but also causes difficulties in traffic supervision, posing a potential risk of insecurity.
The authorities recommend that traffic participants comply with regulations and avoid fraudulent acts that can lead to serious consequences.
