The Ferrari 296 GTS is a high-performance hybrid convertible supercar that has been brought to the country by some Vietnamese businessmen with different color options such as yellow, purple red and gray. This is the second Ferrari model to apply a plug-in hybrid powertrain, after the SF90 Stradale.
The car is equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, producing 654 horsepower, combined with an electric motor with a capacity of 165 horsepower. Total power reaches 819 horsepower.
The 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery system allows the vehicle to operate purely on electricity for a distance of about 25 km, providing an environmentally friendly factor.
In terms of performance, the Ferrari 296 GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of over 330 km/h. The highlight of the car is the hardtop design, which can be turned on/off in 14 seconds with just one button press. When lowered, the roof is kept compact behind the steering cabin, creating flexibility in the user experience.
The appearance of the Ferrari 296 GTS in Vietnam shows the growing appeal of the hybrid supercar line, both with typical sporty performance and meeting the trend of being environmentally friendly in the high-end auto industry.
