This is a new convertible supercar model of the Italian brand, first launched globally in 2022.
The car in Ho Chi Minh City has a striking yellow exterior, combined with carbon details, silver double-spoke 5-spoke wheels and red brake clips, bringing a sporty appearance. This is also the color often chosen by Ferrari in addition to the traditional Rosso Corsa color.
Compared to the coupe 296 GTB version, the Ferrari 296 GTS has a 3-part hardtop design, which can be turned on or off in just about 14 seconds. When the roof is closed, the car retains its sporty appearance like a coupe, while when opened, it becomes a seductive convertible, suitable for luxurious street walking style.
The Ferrari 296 GTS is the second model of the company to integrate a plug-in hybrid powertrain, after the SF90. The car is equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, producing 654 horsepower, combined with an electric motor with a capacity of 165 horsepower, bringing the total power to 819 horsepower.
The 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery allows the supercar to move completely on electricity for a distance of about 25 km, supporting environmentally friendly operation when needed. With the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a maximum speed of more than 330 km/h, the Ferrari 296 GTS affirms its position as a sporty hybrid supercar, meeting both the speed experience and daily comfort.
