Maserati GranTurismo Sport is a rare sports car model in the Vietnamese market. Recently, a GranTurismo Sport appeared on the streets of Hanoi and quickly attracted the attention of car enthusiasts thanks to its exterior different from the original.
According to records, the car originally had a yellow paint color when it was produced, but after being brought to Hanoi by the new owner, it was decaled and changed to a silver tone. Going with it is a set of 5-spoke double rims painted black combined with red brake calipers, creating a sporty highlight and contrasting with the exterior color.
The Maserati GranTurismo Sport was first launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012, replacing the GranTurismo S version. The model was developed based on inspiration from the high-performance MC Stradale variant with more sporty details.
The car appearing in Hanoi still retains many characteristics of the GranTurismo Sport line such as aggressive front and rear bumper designs, symmetrical dual exhaust pipes, rear diffuser and carbon fiber spoiler, contributing to improving aerodynamics. The car is also equipped with many carbon trim details on the exterior, creating a healthy and personal look.
In terms of power, the Maserati GranTurismo Sport uses a 4,7L naturally aspirated V8 engine, upgraded from the GranTurismo S version with a redesigned piston. This engine block produces a maximum power of 454 horsepower and a maximum torque of 519 Nm.
Thanks to that, the Italian brand's sports coupe has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.8 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 298 km/h. Although launched more than a decade ago, GranTurismo Sport is still highly appreciated by many car lovers thanks to its elegant design, characteristic V8 exhaust sound and emotional handling.
