The Korean car brand has unveiled the EV4 model before its official debut at the Kia EV Day event on February 27 in Spain. Compared to the concept version revealed in 2024, the production version of EV4 does not have many changes in design. The EV4 will have 2 product lines including sedan and hatchback.
The appearance of the new model stands out with the factory- mounted grille (a part placed at the front of the vehicle with the main role of protecting the grille system, engine and other parts inside the engine compartment) typical of the company. Both lines are equipped with headlights and LED daytime running lights with black grille. The highlight of the EV4 sedan is the side with a design similar to supercars. The EV4 is not like any other model from Kia.
The hatchback and sedan versions of the EV4 have differences in the taillights. The EV4 hatchback has a longer rear than the sedan and a smaller, more vertical rear window.
Both sedan and hatchback versions of EV4 have GT-Line interior packages. Different high-performance packages in the 19-inch rim; better front/rear tunnel resistance. Although the Korean automaker has not revealed the interior design, the EV4 cabin will have a similar design to other EV models such as a wide-screen dashboard with a cluster of watches and entertainment screens.
According to the plan, the Kia EV4 will be sold first in the European market, then to other countries. The EV4 will compete with rivals such as: Hyundai Kona EV, Renault Megane E-Tech and Mini Aceman.
