In the late 2000s, Aston Martin implemented a unique plan to turn the Toyota IQ urban car into an Aston brand car called the Super Cygnet. However, a user ordered and asked the factory to use a V8 engine.
However, switching to a V8 engine for this model is not a simple task. Aston Martin started with a convertible body and built a anti-lock, front wall and all the necessary assemblies to use the front and rear phu panels.
The 4.7-liter V8 engine comes from the Vantage model at that time, creating 430 horsepower and 489 Nm of torque, powered to the rear wheel through a 7-speed Sportshift automatic transmission.
Aston estimates that this specially designed Super Cygnet model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and can reach 274 km/h if someone is brave enough to run at this speed.
Currently, the original owner of the Super Cygnet, who had only traveled 4,700 km on a green car, has decided to resell it. Even regular Cygnet cars are sold for more than £28,000 (VND894 million).
