According to records, this supercar has appeared on the used car market since the beginning of this year. With a very short usage distance, the car is considered an attractive "slip car" choice, helping buyers significantly reduce depreciation costs compared to new cars. This is also an important factor that makes the model quickly have customers closing transactions.
Unlike the trend of choosing the Spider convertible version of many customers, this Artura belongs to the coupe variant.
The name Artura is a combination of "Art" (art) and "Future" (future), reflecting the new design direction of McLaren Automotive. This is also the company's first model to use the MCLA carbon fiber chassis platform (McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture), helping to optimize mass and increase rigidity.
Launched in 2022, Artura is McLaren's third plug-in hybrid supercar, after McLaren P1 and McLaren Speedtail. At the same time, this is also the first line of the company to be equipped with a completely new V6 engine.
Providing power to the car is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total power of 671 horsepower and a maximum torque of 720 Nm. Of which, the gasoline engine contributes 577 horsepower, and the electric motor adds 95 horsepower, bringing impressive acceleration.
The car uses a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, allowing a maximum travel of about 31 km in pure electric mode. Full battery charge time is about 2.5 hours. Thanks to the application of lightweight materials, Artura is only about 46 kg heavier than the McLaren 570S model despite being equipped with an additional electrochemical system.
The appearance and rapid handover of the Artura shows the appeal of high-performance hybrid supercars in the domestic market, especially for used cars that are still in almost new condition.
