According to research, after rolling only a few thousand km, the owner of this car model decided to transfer it to experience another car line.
Unlike the trend of choosing the convertible version (Spider) of many customers, the McLaren Artura just appearing in Ho Chi Minh City belongs to the coupe variant. The car owns an internal leather-covered compartment (Alcantara) combined with orange striped details synchronized with the exterior, creating a unique sporty overall style.
The name Artura was developed from a combination of two elements "art" (Art) and "future", reflecting McLaren Automotive's new design orientation. This is also the company's first model to use the MCLA carbon fiber chassis platform (McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture), contributing to optimizing mass and increasing body firmness.
Launched in 2022, the McLaren Artura is the third plug-in hybrid supercar in the company's electrification product portfolio, after the McLaren P1 and McLaren Speedtail. At the same time, it is also McLaren's first model to be equipped with a completely new V6 engine.
Providing power to the car is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, combined with an electric motor, producing a total power of 671 horsepower and a maximum torque of 720 Nm. In which, the gasoline engine contributes 577 horsepower, and the electric motor adds 95 horsepower, helping the car achieve impressive acceleration.
In addition, the 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery allows the McLaren Artura to operate a maximum of about 31 km in pure electric mode. Full battery charge time is about 2.5 hours. Thanks to the application of lightweight materials, this model is only about 46 kg heavier than the McLaren 570S, despite being equipped with an additional electrification system.
