On the afternoon of May 12, a fire broke out behind a trailer of a tractor-trailer at km170 of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway, passing through Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province.

At that time, the tractor-trailer was traveling from North to South, when it reached the above location, it caught fire in a trailer with license plate 51R-271.73 towing the tank. The driver separated the tractor and trailer, and called on drivers traveling on the road to help put out the fire.

Many drivers brought handheld fire extinguishers to spray. Some refrigerated vehicles carrying stopped water bottles were supplied. Drivers scooped water into plastic buckets and caught fire. The Fire Prevention and Fighting & Rescue Force also arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, the fire is controlled in time, not to spread and limit the damage of the tank. The week unit went to the scene to place a warning sign for traffic police to regulate traffic through the location of the tractor in distress.

2 days ago, also on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway through Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province, a fire broke out that killed a sleeper bus.
