Truck caught fire fiercely on Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway

Yen Bai - A truck traveling on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway in the direction of Lao Cai - Noi Bai suddenly caught fire.

At around 7:00 p.m. on April 26, a serious vehicle fire broke out at Km 109+109 on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, in the direction of traveling from Lao Cai to Hanoi.

At that time, the truck with license plate 77R - 028.93 traveling in the direction of Lao Cai - Noi Bai to the above location caught fire. The fire quickly engulfed most of the vehicles.

According to initial information, the incident did not cause any human casualties.

Immediately after receiving the report, Operation Team No. 2 of Vietnam Expressway Operation and Maintenance Company (VECO&M) quickly approached the scene.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Yen Bai province was also present to support extinguishing the fire.

At the scene, the truck was still on fire. The authorities are trying to control the fire, while coordinating to direct traffic and ensure traffic safety.

The incident limited traffic in the direction from Lao Cai to Hanoi, vehicles could only move in one direction through the incident area.

At the time of the fire, the weather in the area without rain, the conditions on the route and the traffic safety system on the route were guaranteed.

According to newly updated information, by around 8:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was under control.

Currently, the authorities are investigating and clarifying the incident.
