The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police has just announced the list of vehicles being handled for remote fines through AI camera systems in June 2026.
According to statistics, from June 1 to June 30, 2026, the AI camera system managed and operated by the Hanoi Traffic Police Department detected and recorded 10,616 cases of violations of road traffic order and safety, including 7,966 motorbikes.
Notably, through reviewing the list of violations, a motorbike with license plate 29P2-04x. xx was recorded by the AI camera system up to 14 violations in just one month.
Accordingly, these vehicles all violated the offense of "Not wearing helmets for motorcyclists and motorbike riders when driving vehicles participating in traffic on roads". The violations were recorded by the AI camera system at the Lac Long Quan - Thuy Khue intersection (Tay Ho ward, Hanoi).
With the same violation, at the above location, motorcycles with license plates 29B1-63x.xx, 29G1-43x.xx were also recorded as being fined 12 times; Supervisory Board 29B1-28x.xx 11 times; 29N1-42x.xx 10 times...
According to Point h, Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, the above behavior will be fined from 400,000 - 600,000 VND.
