The police note that from January 1, 2025, the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulate administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as for motorbike drivers running red lights and being fined 4-6 million VND (the old fine was 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
The violation of not wearing a helmet will be fined from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND.
