At noon on March 14, responding to Lao Dong reporter, an officer of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Thai Binh Provincial Police confirmed that on the same morning, the driver of a truck with license plate 18C - 124.06 violated traffic light signals (exceeding red lights) 7 times within 2 weeks in Thai Binh City and went to the headquarters of the Traffic Police Department - Thai Binh Provincial Police to contact and resolve the fine.

Accordingly, at the authorities, the female driver born in 2002 (residing in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province) admitted to being the driver of a truck with license plate 18C - 124.06 with the above violation.

This person explained that he drove a truck carrying rice from Nam Dinh province to a company in Nguyen Duc Canh Industrial Park, Thai Binh City at noon, due to not paying attention to traffic light signals and mistakenly thinking that the red light was turned left, he had violated many times. The female driver requested to comply with the fine payment according to regulations and committed to learn from experience, strictly complying with the provisions of the Road Traffic Law.

With the female driver admitting her violation, according to regulations, officers of the Traffic Police Department - Thai Binh Provincial Police have drawn up a record to administratively sanction the violator.

Accordingly, with a total of 7 red light violations, the female driver was fined 133 million VND, had 4 points deducted from her driving license and had her driving license temporarily detained until she had completed paying the administrative fine.

Previously, according to the public announcement of the Traffic Police Department - Thai Binh Provincial Police on the list of cases of violations of the Road Traffic Law that were fined, in the two weeks from February 19 to February 25 and February 26 to April 4 in Thai Binh province, 91 vehicles were fined.

Of which, 13 vehicles violated traffic light signals (overtaking red lights), 78 vehicles violated speeding.

Notably, out of 13 vehicles recorded running red lights in the past two weeks, only trucks with Nam Dinh Provincial license plate 18C - 124.06 violated this violation up to 7 times (week from February 19 to 25 violated 5 times, week from February 26 to 4, continued to violate 2 times).

According to the results of the surveillance camera recording by the authorities, the truck had violated traffic light signals at the same location on 7 times, at the intersection between the S1 bypass and provincial road DT.454 (Tan Binh intersection, Thai Binh City).
